Welcome to Golya Cafe, a charming oasis nestled in the heart of Sadrazamköy, where local flavors and warm hospitality collide to create a delightful experience for patrons. Imagine finding a cozy spot just a stone's throw away from the scenic lighthouse, perfect for a refreshing pause during your explorations. This gem of a cafe is known for its intimate atmosphere and scrumptious menu offerings that emphasize local produce and homemade goodness.

At Golya Cafe, the magic begins with the owner, who is often on hand to brew you a fantastic cup of Turkish coffee that will awaken your senses and energize your spirit. The cafe's signature drinks include a refreshing homemade lemonade, crafted from lemons plucked right from the tree, providing a burst of zesty sweetness that is both invigorating and thirst-quenching. Don't miss out on their freshly prepared salads, featuring the finest ingredients sourced from the garden, alongside olives that embody the very essence of the island. As customer Helen Wilde raved, these offerings are not just meals—they're a celebration of freshness and flavor.

Step outside to enjoy the outdoor seating, where the ambiance is as cozy as it is inviting. The warmth of the sun combined with the genuine friendliness of the staff creates a welcoming environment that feels quintessentially Cypriot. This outdoor space is perfect for enjoying a quick coffee break, soaking in the local vibe, or simply watching the world go by. As Demi Pasaoglu shared, the moments spent at Golya Cafe can be both relaxing and enlightening, as the owner is eager to share fascinating tidbits about the surrounding area.

Moreover, Golya Cafe's charm extends beyond just food and drink. While it may be a small establishment, it boasts a unique spirit that resonates with all who visit. Stephen Scott, another delighted guest, describes the cafe as a great spot on the way to the lighthouse. It's that perfect pit stop where you can refuel before continuing your adventures. And if you're lucky enough to be there when chef Gültac is in the kitchen, you're in for a real treat—each dish is made with love and skill, creating a memorable experience that you won't soon forget.

In the words of Susanne Brunner, “Best food, coolest and nicest people” truly encapsulates what Golya Cafe is all about. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee, or you're looking to savor a leisurely afternoon meal under the shade, this cafe promises an experience steeped in warmth and community. So, make Golya Cafe a part of your journey and discover the joy of good food, great coffee, and exceptional company.

Great place on the way to and from the lighthouse. Drinks and sandwiches available if owner is around. Toilet stop if desparate, but please ask first and buy a drink they don't clean themselves.

Lovely place … handmade lemonade fresh from the lemon tree and then a salad again freshly picked for us. Delicious olives again made from their trees. Will go back *****

The café may be technically closed for now, but the owner will still brew you a fantastic cup of turkish coffee, if you decide to peep inside! I certainly hope to be back here one day, thank you for the hospitality, Masar!

We just needed a place to have a quick coffee, and it was perfect for that. Outdoor seating was very Cypriot - warm and welcoming. The owner made the coffees and told us a bit about the nearby area.

Amazing place to have a roadside coffee. Masar has great stories to tell if you’re interested in the history of Northern Cyprus

Decided to go for a drive from Alsancak and just followed the mountain road and ended up in this little village, saw signs for coffee and sandwiches and decided to stop. Had a lovely snack and coffee. Very welcoming people.
